SUMMARY:Lagos Biennial 5th Edition - "The Museum of Things Unseen"
DESCRIPTION:The Museum of Things Unseen\n14 November – 6 December 2026 | Eko Atlantic\, Lagos \nWhat lies hidden in the shadows of our museum spaces? Whose stories are silenced\, and whose voices are amplified? If we were to build a museum from scratch\, unbounded by structural inequities\, what form would it take? \nThis November\, Lagos welcomes the world for the fifth edition of the Lagos Biennial. \nCurated by Furen Dai\, Chinyere Obieze and Sam Hopkins\, The Museum of Things Unseen brings together artists and cultural practitioners from around the world to reimagine the museum and explore the histories\, objects and narratives that remain unseen. \nExperience three weeks of international contemporary art\, ambitious installations\, performances\, conversations and the inaugural presentation of the Àkéte Collection. \n\n\nDetails by @lagos_biennial. \n*** \nDisclaimer: Unless explicitly stated\, ArtGuideAfrica does not own\, endorse\, and is not affiliated with any event/organisation included on this event calendar.
