For this session, we welcome photographer and filmmaker Nengi Nelson to lead a paper making workshop at The Curlt.

Working across image and film, Nengi’s practice has always been attentive to material and process. In this class, she shifts focus to paper itself ,the surface that holds so much of our visual and written culture.

Participants will learn the process of making paper by hand, shaping pulp into sheets that carry texture, weight, and character.
