Don’t miss your chance to tell your story! 🎥

Eastern Nigeria International Film Festival (ENIFF) is an international film festival held in Enugu, Nigeria, dedicated to showcasing powerful storytelling across narrative, documentary, animation, and experimental cinema.

ENIFF creates a meeting point for new and established filmmakers, offering a platform where emerging voices can be discovered while experienced filmmakers engage audiences within a culturally rooted screening environment. We welcome submissions from Nigeria, Africa, and the global filmmaking community.

Selected films are screened before live audiences and receive media visibility, public conversations, and opportunities for interaction with filmmakers, cultural practitioners, and industry stakeholders. The festival prioritizes meaningful audience engagement and dialogue around film, culture, and contemporary issues.

Beyond screenings, ENIFF runs year-round capacity-building activities including workshops, mentorship programmes, and filmmaker development initiatives aimed at strengthening the creative ecosystem and supporting sustainable creative careers.

ENIFF is youth-focused but not youth-limited. We encourage submissions from student filmmakers, independent creators, and established filmmakers whose work seeks thoughtful audiences and authentic engagement.

We are particularly interested in films with a clear perspective, sincerity, and originality. High budgets are not required — strong storytelling is.
