Reimagining Heritage: A Guided Visit To The Old Secretariat

February 27 @ 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Free

We are pleased to announce our guided visit to “Reimagining Nigerian Alternative Heritage”, a powerful exhibition by the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) in collaboration with IFRA-Nigeria.

Following our experience at the opening, The Creative Alliance will be hosting a curated tour experience for members of our community; bringing together creatives, thinkers and young learners for an immersive engagement with history.

The visit will include a guided walkthrough of the exhibition, historical reflections on the Old Secretariat, a screening of the TALE of the Old Secretariat documentary, and an interactive heritage experience.

Together, these moments are designed to open up conversations around monuments, memory and alternative heritage narratives and we are thankful to the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) in collaboration with IFRA-Nigeria for the insightful exhibition.

As part of our commitment to arts education and cultural exchange, we are also exploring opportunities to extend invitations to students; creating meaningful access points for young people to engage with heritage through scholarship, film and interactive media.

We look forward to returning to the exhibition and continuing the dialogue around heritage as a living, evolving space for reflection and imagination.

Entry is FREE.
